We're using the Versant object-oriented database (VOD) in Bot Colony to increase programmer productivity, overcome memory limitations, and eliminate the need to serialize and de-serialize data to SQL.

In Bot Colony, we plan to use some exciting Mixamo animations in our Bar level, where robots will dance alongside people.

The code driving the player's PDA in Bot Colony was automatically generated with the VAPS XT product. The PDA was designed in the VAPS XT visual environment, which is typically used to develop embedded graphics code for avionics and automotive displays. This code can be easily rehosted to other platforms (e.g., iPhone).
