- Hardcore gamers sign up for the Game Beta.
- If you want to improve your English, are interested in language in general or study English as a second language (ESL), sign up for the ESL Beta.
- Premium Beta participants: we will guarantee a not-to-exceed number of players per server, so you should have superior response time. There will be no load tests on Premium Beta servers.
- To join the Beta, your computer must be able to run Bot Colony. Requirements: graphics, Windows 7 or Vista, 2 Gb memory, DSL or better.
Free Beta
As we get closer to the Beta, we will notify Beta participants who have been accepted to the Free Beta program. We plan to accommodate 1,000 players in the Game Beta and 1,000 players in the ESL Beta.

Premium Beta
As we are a self-funded indie developer, we will need to charge for online gameplay to recover the cost of servers and bandwith. The projected price is $6.99 per month. Premium Beta will be on a first-come first-served basis, so you should sign up to guarantee your place in line and be among the first to play Bot Colony.
